I saw it posted here awhile back that if you hit on 50% of your picks as a GM, that is seen as being somewhat successful. Anything over 50% and you are doing a great job.

2015

Jameis Winston - Pro Bowler, could be a HOF when it's all said and done LONG way to go on that but COULD
Donovan Smith - Solid Starter
Ali Marpet - Pro Bowl caliber player
Kwon Alexander - Pro Bowl caliber player
Kenny Bell - will be cut
Kaelin Clay - was cut
Joe Iosefa - was cut

2016

Vernon Hargreaves - looks phenomenal early. should have three picks in two games, leads NFL in INTs through pre-season
Noah Spence - flashed first game, incredible get off. will be a solid starter for us, Pro Bowl potential if he plays like he did game 1 TBD
Roberto Aguayo - could be a flaming turd, time will tell - but looks/smells like a turd
Ryan Smith - had a pick last night, needs time to develop. too early to call but promising
Caleb Benenoch - injured, too early to call
Devante Bond - has looked solid, potential SAM starter still - very early
Dan Vitale - has shown us nothing, too early to tell

So according to my calculations, we appear to have 7 winners, 3 cuts, 1 possible turd, and 3 too early to tells. If Augyo ends up being a turd (he very could be) and the 3 players who haven't shown anything end up being turds, the guy is going to be 50/50 on his picks.

The problem isn't Licht, or the pick. He got aggressive to solve a glaring problem with what many people viewed as the best kicking prospect in a decade. I'm sure he had Jameis in his ear to pick his old teammate. The problem is Augyo. He isn't performing. Don't blame Licht for that, if anything blame of Special Teams coach, but certainly not Licht. You pick a player based on his tape and where you project his growth. It's up to the player and the coaching to get the most out of the player - not the GM.

So give the man a break, he's had the best drafts we have seen since the 90's.
