With no clear cut top money free agent to throw money at, let's get weird here for a minute and come up with some outside the box idea's to fix this pass rush.
Step 1) Trade a 4th round pick to the Rams for Robert Quinn
Step 2) Sign at least two difference makers in the secondary so the pass rush has time to get home.
Step 3) Sign a big nasty nose to eat blocks in the middle.
Step 4) Draft Derwin James in the first
Step 5) Draft front defensive playmakers regardless of position throughout.
Step 6) Transplant the mind of a creative defensive coordinator into mike smith, one that will send a wide variety of pressure packages at the quarterback. Lineman, Linebackers, Corners, either of both of our young difference making safeties (James and Evans.)
Step 7) Implant Noah Spence with a bionic arm; a la the winter soldier (hopefully that should sure up his shoulder)
