First of all let me say this, I am a very optimistic fan, but I also try my best to be real. Let's be real for a moment.We have a rookie QB (Who is fantastic and I love) who isn't consistent. Jameis is the man, but he is not at the level to make a playoff run. He's great for a rookie, and we should not expect a rookie to make a playoff run. That only happens when you have an great defense and run game (Wilson, Big Ben, Flacco), which leads me to my next point.Our defense is average at best, and is missing playermakers at important positions. We have no true pass rusher. We have no shutdown corner. We get shredded every game unless we force turnovers. We just have not been consistent all year, and it's not just going to suddenly happen. That's insane to think.Also the Seahawks will lock up that last spot. They have an experienced squad with postseason success. They are the type of team that can make a run right now. We are not. With that being said, it's been a great ride this season and we are way better than I imagined we would be. We are just not a post season team. I would LOVE to come back to this thread and look like a fool, but I just don't see that happening.
