Imagine a season that stood in stark contrast to our current season:
1) The Panthers, Rams, Cards wins stand. Be we also beat the 9ers, Giants, Titans, Seahawks.
We’re 7-3 rather than 3-7.
2) No real coaching gaffes and our r1st down play-calling featured a much higher % of Passes.
3) Jameis’ Interceptions were cut back by a little more than a 1/3; 6 less for 10 total on the year and 2 less Fumbles. Let’s say he made a LOT more plays with his feet in the first 8 games rather than taking Coverage Sacks.
4) Carlton Davis has 4 less Penalties (which he should have 4 less), including the pick that was wrongly overturned.
5) Gay doesn’t miss the game-winning FG.
6) Devin White played assignment sound in coverage and the run game, tackled well, and made 5 or so Splash plays in Pass Rush.
7) VH3 suddenly ascended as an NCB and Dean and Edwards were both healthy all year and playing solidly.
8) Jones turned into a great Pass Protector and a huge weapon in the passing game.
