At that point we have filled 2 major positions of need at CB and OG while getting a younger quality player at a decent price that can play the same role and positions that McCoy could (34 DE and 43, nickel DT). Jernigan is exactly what you want in a 1 gap scheme- upfield penetrator/disruptor and he’s a great compliment to Vea.

We have a top 5 pick in the bank an early 2nd and 3rd and probably 2 comp picks at the end of R3.
