Great statistically and poor situationally does not mean great overall.
It actually does, because nobody really buys your opinion on how the offense is poor situationally. Just like nobody buys your opinion about how the defense is good situationally. Just like nobody really buys your opinion that Sean Tucker is Emmitt Smith. Just like nobody buys your opinion that forcing punts doesn't win games.
But under the big top, anything is possible.

JC has you arguing with him over what "great" means when the offense set records and the defense was mostly pathetic.
Maybe pull down your tu tu before the next spin.

One of the records your harping on is yards per carry. Tucker led the backs in yards per carry. When I say he should be playing over White, who had a robust 2.7 yards per carry in the 4th qtr, you know, when the "great' offense usually folded, I'm a loon.

Do you need it explained to you why White YPC sucks and Tucker's is better? Hint: it all came from one game
White multiple times this year got the garbage time run the clock out because we're up 30. Anyone who actually watched the games will recognize this.
Tucker did not do this... He got the benefit of beating down the Saints terrible run defense.
You love to use statistics as you see fit. For the offense as a whole it means less. For Tucker situationally it means everything (cherry picked).
Let's see who averages the most fumbles per goal line attempt.
White also missed both games vs NO so... That's a sure fire way to limit some upside exposure for your seasons stats.
Luckily Tucker was able to cash in and massively inflate his...

You just make things up while I provide evidence.
1. vs Raiders, vs Saints Week 18, vs Ravens and vs Panthers, Tucker combined for 18 carries, 131 yards, 7.3 ypc. So no, his high ypc didn't just come from the first Saints game. I'm sure you guys will have a reason this doesn't count.
2. Tucker got garbage time carries with backup linemen vs the Chargers, 7 carries for 17 yards.
So you've already been proven wrong with your first two points.
You are right that White missed the Saints games. Ironically the offense put those games away in the 4th qtr. Is that a coincidence? Well you be the judge.
Yards per carry in 4th qtr of a 1 score game. Tucker- 12.5, White- 2.1.

Yards per carry in 4th qtr of a 1 score game. Tucker- 12.5, White- 2.1.
Now do 1st quarter ypc for all 3 backs.
While you’re at it, do their fumble rate per carry for the season.

Rachaad White's ineffectiveness running the ball in the 4th qtr was the biggest single factor the offense's struggles. And then holding the ball out with one hand and eventually fumbling it vs Dallas.

"Offense's struggles"? for the 3rd ranked offense in the league?

Yes, offensive struggles. They don't close out games. I already outlined and I'm not doing it again. Lions game, Falcons game, 49ers game, Cowboys game, Commanders game.
I disagree with the concept of “offensive struggles” last year. DH made a solid case, both the eye test and data proves that.
The defense struggled, you aren’t going to scheme it up perfectly, and every year there are teams that will have match-up advantages, mostly due to injuries the Bucs have on defense - especially last year when we had periods where we relied on talent that was sub-starter level.
In fact, this time last year I made the point that although the data didn’t suggest it, the defense had demonstrated some weakness in 2023 that showed it had aged, and seemed to suggest it would not be a strength heading into 2024.
The only weakness I see with the offense is that we have another new OC with no NFL playcalling experience. That has worked pretty well the last couple of years, so I give the Bucs the benefit of the doubt.
The main focus of our offseason talent acquisition is & should be rebuilding the critical areas of the defense. We’ve all agreed with those specific areas of need - not sure we will address all those areas, but we have the money to add FA’s and the ability to add good draft picks - in order to address those critical areas.

Those game might have a combined 5 forced punts.
Lions game - all stops came in the red zone
Falcons games - maybe 1 or 2 forced punts total
Cowboys game vs a backup QB - maybe 2 forced punts
49ers game - stops came from 3 missed fgs
Commanders game - no forced punts
I mean shit, how many turnovers did we force? Maybe 2 in those 6 games mentioned? Maybe 3...
The offense is remarkable considering how little the defense gave them.

You're so close to getting it... So close.
