Bowles accomplishments as DC and HC command more respect than he gets from the fans and media.
I’m sure you give the same respect to Licht then.

Much in the same way Brian Shaw should command respect for the championships with Shaq and Kobe.
"Bucs have hired Zach Beistline as their new director of football research. Beistline spent the last 12 years with the Jaguars, working as an analyst and most recently as director of game management."
Bowles is awesome in the regular season but chokes during the playoffs it seems!
Heard on Podcast w/Matera, SR, and Aumon that Beistline role is going to be clock manager…"Bucs have hired Zach Beistline as their new director of football research. Beistline spent the last 12 years with the Jaguars, working as an analyst and most recently as director of game management."
Bowles needs one, but I think all teams should have one. A guy taht can lay out all situations of clock management before the end of the half/game and prepare bowles to timeout.
I honestly think top madden players are very good at clock management and you can hire one thta does all the situations, as all it takes are a large amount of reps of clock management and they are adept at these situations. Its a video game but it is a simulation that players put themselves in for a huge amount of reps, with pressure all the time. ....sounds dumb but uhh i was a top 1000 madden player back in my teenage years. Thats what VR is pretty much, madden, just more intricate and specific. Football isnt as simple as madden but clock management I would say has a lot of carryover

JC would be a shoe in for this gig.
Depends if hes a top madden player lol tampa had a couple top 10 guys and 1 who won the espn madden tournament.
But seriously the "VR" goggles is pretty much madden but play designed and features that can be sped up to liek 2x for processing speed no doubt in my mind its useful for nfl qbs

There’s not a coach in the league that needs one more than the clueless sap we have at the helm.
New position should also be able to tell him to pull players who are CLEARLY injured and yank star players when down 3 scores with 2 minutes to play.
You’d think it’s elementary stuff, but we’re talking about Bowles after all.

All teams should hire a player to catch passes for WRs that drop balls.
Head Coach job ain’t for the faint of heart
“FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Andy Reid offered little explanation for the poor time management that cost the Kansas City Chiefs in the fourth quarter of their 27-20 loss to the New England Patriots in Saturday's divisional round game.”
“
Does Andy Reid Really Not Understand How to Manage the Clock?”
“Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid shoulders the blame for the ankle injury suffered by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, according to NFL legend Mark Schlereth. Mahomes, 29, left the Chiefs game against the Cleveland Browns in the fourth quarter on Sunday, December 15 after injuring his right ankle.”
Lol
Lol
Licht is quote in today's Fab 5, which came our after my post above
"“[Bowles] is very transparent about wanting to improve on those things,” Licht said. “I remember when I was working for the Eagles back in 2003-07, the same criticism was on Andy Reid. And he is one of the best coaches of all-time. The good ones adjust, and the good ones know when to look [for help] and how to improve themselves. And I think Todd’s no different.”
LMAO

LMAO indeed.
