Hey guys long time no talk. Don’t have as much time now days to talk Bucs and frankly they haven’t had much positive to talk about in a long time. This isn’t your typical emotional fire x and y thread. This is my faith in the current regime. If you remember my posts I was never this way and I’m not now either.
I’ll start with this, Jason Licht sucks at FA. I wouldn’t be too upset if he doesn’t do too much in FA. I think either way this team sucks next year and we need to make changes at the GM and coach position. I think we need a respected person at the gm position. We need a change in culture. Light and Koetter are not proven winners. I wouldn’t mind bringing in some sort of ex HOF player or HC to be the GM. Kind of like how the Lightning did with Steve Yzerman. I wouldn’t be against Brooks or somebody along those lines. Doesn’t have to be a ex Bucs player. Greatest thing they could do would be if they went hard after Bellicheck or Tom Brady to be our GM after this clusterfuck is over. Guys who don’t accept losing on any level. Know how to build a team. You get the gist.
I’ll be pleasantly surprised if we do anything noteworthy this year. The Eagles did it last year and surprised everybody but they built their teams from the lines out. Light and Koetter have done it the opposite way. Unless they really upgrade our lines this team will be a top 10 pick in the draft again. Book it. We need a change at the top. Don’t even get me started on the Glazers. Talk about people who don’t give a shit about winning. I guess the bottom line is we need proven people here and people who know what the fuck they are doing. It’s like Captain Clueless all over again.
