In the tough times or even when things are better, like right now, I believe in the plan that we are trying to put in place each week and I have confidence in what we’re doing.” By Roy Cummings | Tribune Staff Published:  December 11, 2015 at 09:54 PMTAMPA — Like his mentor, Tony Dungy, Bucs coach Lovie Smith seldom expresses a lot of emotion on the sidelines. He says that’s not so much a byproduct of his personality as it is a byproduct of the faith he has that his team will perform as coached.“I believe in what we’re doing,’’ Smith said. “In the tough times or even when things are better, like right now, I believe in the plan that we are trying to put in place each week and I have confidence in what we’re doing.“It just doesn’t do an awful lot of good to fly off the handle. I’m not the entertainment on the sideline. People don’t really care what I’m doing. What I have to do is keep a straight head and try to stay in the game as much as anything. That’s what I try to do for the most part.”[email protected]Twitter: @RCummingsTBO
