If we were to take EZ and that causes us to miss Campbell (an area of definite need) who are the top 1-2 alternatives that might be available when we pick again?

EDGE is still very much a need.
Reddick isn’t the end all be all solution.
If there’s a higher rated prospect at EDGE come our pick, then you take him.
You’ll still have guys like Schwesinger, Paul Jr. and others in R2 and R3.
I think there’s quite a few ILB that would be upgrades in r2-4

yes that’s why I was asking who people think the LB pick would be in that scenario

Those would be my Top 2
The closer I look at this draft the less interested I am in Jihad. He’s got too many flaws in his game to be a first round pick.
Licht is great at not over drafting (insert dumb ass kicker jokes here), so I expect we will go with that edge kid from Tennessee or that Cover from Notre Dame.
Bucs strategy is clear at this point:
- Re-sign key franchise players like LVD and Godwin
- Fix main weaknesses with Reddick and Dixon
- Re-up Bredeson, Nelson and Gaines in the trenches
- ?
I think with the second wave of free agency Licht shifts his focus to skill players at ILB, CB, S and WR.
The draft strategy is lining up for BAP for the most part but a trade down from the first is increasingly possible too.
Brewer is back and that is surprising they are focusing on re-upping him so early in free agency. It appears though the Bucs FO and coaches like the DL on the roster: Vea, Kancey, Hall, Gaines, and Brewer which leaves 1-2 roster spot left.
It seems to me that Licht is always looking for value with the first round pick So you can scratch DL off the list because a rookie is going to have a hard time receive playing time over these veterans. In fact I do not see the Bucs taking a DT in round 1-4 and may wait till the 5th round to find a depth guy to develop and replace Hall when he moves on in 2026.
Is Campbell even that good or is he just surrounded by elite talent at every position?
Hard to tell so I'm not really sure what I want

He's good. Not sure he's that much better than the other guys that will go later, but he's a solid player.
Pass rush pass rush pass rush. Hope Licht learned from his White over Allen decision that we're still trying overcome.
Redick is good but his long term status as a Bucs is in the air. Braswell started to play well last 2-3 games of the season but in the grand scheme of things means nothing. We should draft best EDGE if available and develop. You can find good backers laters in the draft.
He's a good player as Biggs said. Will go as far saying he will have a longer playing career than Devin White but IMO Bucs could be smarter using there resources and get similar production with a guy like Carson Schwesinger. Is Campbell even that good or is he just surrounded by elite talent at every position?

Bucs have so far signed a veteran ILB, CB and have re-signed Gaines and Brewer. It looks like to me that the next signing will be a veteran safety. Based on this the Bucs may in fact go BAP in the draft after all but we will see.

This is the way.
Speaking of Devin White, I see that chump hasn't been signed yet.
