Our D line play this year was superior this year vs. last with additions of Ayers and Spence; nevertheless, I can't think of a game we won against an above average O line (excluding division game splits). I think our D line is still a major position of need since opposing QBs could write novels in many games this year.
If our O line played like last year, then we'd be a playoff team... I didn't expect such a regression. Did Mankins retirement set us back? I thought we'd be fine without him but maybe his presence impacted everyone else more than I thought... of course it could be that last year was a fluke since our OL was putrid beforehand.
