#Bucs defense refuses to challenge receivers at the line of scrimmage & play aggressive. Becomes 7 on 7 passing drill for good offenses.

Small corners + high volume soft off man/zone coverage = 28th ranked defense in pass yds per play.

He's a sitting duck in that scheme. Can't align 8-9 yds off ball in dbl high cov4, or single high cov 1/3 & expect 2 make plays.

So basically folks we again have another Lovie Smith defensive scheme. These CB's are told not to be beat deep, but let every throw be completed in front of you. If they don't fix this crap and become somewhat aggressive vs. Falcons, then they'll lose yet again at home as usual. I doubt they'll change. Some of you may say well the CB's are hung out to dry because the DL can't put any pressure on the QB. Who calls the plays? You'd think the defensive coordinator would see maybe they should blitz? The very few times they blitzed Carr he made error throws. This team doesn't blitz enough and yet again relies on the front four who we as fans know they don't get pressure consistently. It's the just the same conservative bullshit defensive scheme we've been seeing for a long time as Bucs fans now and frankly I'm sick of it and so should all of you.
