We all know Lovie will be running this scheme next year but how do Mason Foster and Darrelle Revis fit into it?Foster is too slow to play center field and paying Revis to play zone is a complete waste.I think it's obvious that MLB has now become a huge draft/FA need but could this also mean releasing Revis to use that cap space??
Lovie switched up his defense a lot during his final years into Chicago. Revis and Foster will continue to make an impact
Smh if you think that I feel bad for you. Originally tampa 2 doesn't even exist anymore even when Lovie was in Chicago he went away from it.
Hopefully Lovie wasn't lying when he said his time off he learned a lot of new concepts, and considers himself a better coach. I doubt he goes pure T2, I can see Revis and his talents being utilized properly under a defensive guru like Lovie Smith. My real worry is going to be on the offensive side of things. Lovie has a LOT to prove in that regard.
Charles Tillman will be coming here most likely. I'd imagine Lovie will tailor a defense to fit what we have in place. We can also move Foster outside.
I love Peanut Tilman, but dude is getting old.But he is a true class act, and a very reliable vet, in terms of production.
Maybe move David to Mike.
Foster can be moved outside but we still don't have a viable replacement at MLB.
how many times have we called someone old and they are tearing it up again.....john abraham...cough cough. when your good your good. its funny how people believe that someone who has produced his whole life suddenly stops performing. look at charles woodson...how many times did we say he was washed up. lets keep an open mind about some of the free agents . god knows we need someone proven around here for once. maybe bowers will actually look like a defensive end this yr.

I don't know if messing with David's success at WILL is a good idea at this point.

And I was not opposed to John Abraham at all. But Peanut Tillman is starting to slide a bit. And I think Peanut is a very good NFL corner (or was). Pass. Not every situation is the same.

Tillman + Revis would be awesome. Tillman is a turnover machine and you can't throw at Revis.
Tilman would be a great mentor to a player like Banks. That would be the biggest upside to bringing a guy like Peanut in...plus he is a gutty, classy human being.
well is c.j. mosley good enough to go at 7? who's place would Tilman take if he came here, Banks?, back up??
I think banks will be much improved next season. Lets hope he trains with darelle in the summer
