That was my take as well. There is some unfinished business at GM and Coordinators that may be resolved by Monday so it is wise to wait

Jerry Jones is squirmin' right about now. If he blocks it, Frazier comes here this year, Marinelli next year. If he lets him walk, maybe we agree to not sign Frazier this year, assuming Frazier would even go there. Cat and mouse time... ;D
He'd be stupid to retire for a year. Might as well get paid. His contract is up in 2014. Don't sign the contract if you can't live with it.

They probably don't want the first question fielded at the presser to be "Who's the GM?" Wouldn't be surprised if both Lovie and whoever is GM to be announced at the presser Monday together.
