Danny Lansanah Talks His Defining Moment As A Bucs Linebacker Danny Lansanah joined Jenna Live on Sports Talk Live today to talk about his breakout season last year and head coach Lovie Smith’s transformative words to him.What really clicked for you last year? Last year you got the opportunity, you took it and you ran with it… What was the difference maker for you?“I would have to say, getting my weight down and being in the best shape of my life. Before years past, I was at 245, 250. I’ll never forget last year at OTAs, Coach Lovie came up to me and said, ‘I’m about to say 3 words to you, what do you think I’m about to say?’ And he said, ‘you are fat.’ So once he said that I honed in on it and came back to camp, lost 20 pounds, had 10-percent body fat. I think that was the big stepping stone in my career and just focusing.
