If he wins one game or less this season, does he get the quick axe from the Glazers (who almost approved of giving this man full control of ops...YIKES!), which they are not prone to do. They are shrewd businessmen before they are men who truly know enough about football to be making decisions without the advice of a solid senior team president. But what we have seen from THIS regime is absolutely pathetic, and even on a larger scale. This is Lovie Smith we are talking about here. Lovie Smith just got blown out basically 56 to nothing.i His team surrendered 35 points before the Tampa Bay "Bucs" (that ain't my damn team. That is a team of idiots, quitters, and clowns) gathered ONE damn first down. Even Gmac making that comment, which at first I thought was innocuous, are actually problematic. He isn't showing that kick ass attitude needed from a team captain who is a beast when healthy. Also, I am not him, but GMAC with a club is better than Akeem Spence out there. He needs to find a way to wrap that thing, and play through it. The team lacks toughness. Fire. Spirit. Even Lovie Smith with his blank face and dry southern monotone lack spirit in times when things are bleak. And they are bleak as a result of HIS moves. Collins? Ok. Ditching Mike Will for nothing? Dude was tAlented, and would have provided more flex for the offense. Say what you want about MW, but he was a decent wideout in TamPa, a real highlight reel catching machine. Not signing guards worth a damn...he HAD to have done some research on these guys right? Josh damn MCCown? Seriously? Michael Gaines Johnson? Garbage. He dismantled and reassembled a squad of talented clowns. They have the ability to win games. But their coaching has been so bad they are blowing assignments, freelancing, whiffing on tackles. This is on Lovie Smith. The injuries happen to everyone. He failed at having a proper contingency. Should have went after bonafide pass rushers if he was going to cram his archaic c2 scheme I there. I feel like he did nothing but sulk in his basement and jumped at the desperate glazers offer, couldn't believe he was offered so much...and the return has been so bad as to inspire lethargy in the fan base. This loss to Pittsburgh we are about to suffer through will be the nail in the coffin for this team that is dead. I will be over Lovie after this loss. After this first quarter grade of F-, it ain't going to get better as the team will slowly quit and guys like Lansanah live out their dream on a team of pathetic idiots. This particular Bucs team is pitiable at best. I feel bad for Lovie Smith. He is in so far over his head, he will destroy his reputation as a coach during his tenure with the Bucs. He is an old man who is incapable of learning new concepts. We are doomed as fans. Stay frosty. End of Rant. End of Lovie? We can only hope. But at one win or less, that sort of regression is almost inexcusable coming from an experienced coach like Smith.
