Schiano tossed out too much young talent. What a shame. :-
stupid thread. stupid thought.
Bennet is too much?...Blount was worth it in this deep RB crop we have?Don't see it.
I don't think its a 2 year plan. Lots of talent on the team already, then the draftees, and maybe a free agent or two, I expect them to be very competitive next season.
Offense 32nd ranked. Schiano and Dom had a hand in that thanks.
Huh?
Maybe two years if he attempts to start glennon. If he can secure a solid qb and de this off-season, we might just turn it around very quick. Most of our troubles stemmed from bad playcalls and poor situational football. Lovie by himself should clear that up.

It is going to be hard to turn around the offense in one season but if they can make it at least NFL average to go along with an above average/good defense then this team may be competitive.
Impossible. We will be Super Bowl contenders next year for sure!
I will give Lovie two years for sure. If that clown of a coach Schiano gets two, Lovie has to get 2 at least.
Lovie will get as much time as he needs unless they go 0-16 or something.

I think that you are right. He will build this team right eventually.

+1
Honestly, I think we can compete for a wildcard spot this coming season. I think if Lovie can get our D playing better scheme wise, add a big time free agent DE, an OG (or two depending on Nicks), draft a TE and hopefully Manziel and I think this team is right back to at least competing for a playoff spot. Now competing for a championship...I think we are still a few more pieces away and we need to add depth because injuries always happen and the good teams have depth to keep them going.
