My impression was he tried to leave all the doors open until he gets his staff in and evaluates the personnel. He did say some good things about Glennon. Glennon did himself a favor by showing up and showing eagerness to get started.

who is going to come in and start over Glennon this next season? Glennon -- a very bright kid --is going to have his nose in Tedford's playbook WAY before any other guy we bring in. Tedford's passing game is Glennon's strength, short passing , quick hitting. I am not saying Glennon is the Bucs future, but its absurd to say that that Glennon as a starter in 2014 = Lovie "hasn't learned anything about offense still."

Glennon should make the battle for starting greatness intredasting. Bucs absolutely HAVE to bring in help, via the draft or free agency. This is job 1 before addressing DE, even. I expect the Bucs to draft one, personally.

If hiring and firing O-coordinators every year and always finishing in the bottom 5 in offense doesn't say he knows nothing about offense then i dont know what does. He doesn't need to know anything about offense, just needs to find someone who does.Great defensive mind and im glad we hired him. I live in Illinois so i have seen all of his advantages and disadvantages first hand.As far as special teams go. Would love to have Devin here. However when he was dominating it was more about the ST then him. They had Knox and whoever back there and they all did a great job. Take away Dave Toub like this year and they sucked

Yep. I'm not surprised that Glennon made a good first impression. Just as I'm not surprised that Lovie would not say something that would box himself in.

If they actually drafted a kid who could come in next year as a rookie and beat out Glennon after Glennon had the early start on Tedford and his offense, well they might have found a "franchise QB," so who wouldn't want that.
