I don't think Lovie wants the personnel calls, honestly. I think a guy like him would prefer a GM to work with.

He might if they want to go in a different direction defensively, which they should. They dont really have the personnel to run the type of stuff they've been trying to do. Marinelli isn't the greatest fit there.

I may be getting greedy, but we could actually swing both. Make one the DC and the other a position coach and asst HC. That has been done many times. If I had to choose one it would be Marinelli, but Frazier is a fine choice as well.

Marinelli is currently a dline coach without the Asst HC title.
