I feel Lovie coming home to Tampa WHERE HE BELONGS will equate to what happened to the chiefs..A team loaded with extreme talent that just needed real leadership an know how..Lovie is Dungys disciple and I JUST FREAKING LOVE THE BALLS THE GLAZIER BOYS SHOWED IN BRINGING HIM HOME!!!...I didn't think they had it in them ...Off of original topic I wanna squeeze in here that I think the bucs should draft BPA or make a jump for Clowney.......I think we should draft a q.b if clowney is off the board to compete with Glennon ,i'm just not ready to write Glennon off yet with that crap of a coaching staff we had I think Glennon should compete straight up with who ever it is Lovie brings in and I feel Glennon will win the job.....Just my opinion But I bet ya Lovie feels the same way about Glennon....Here's to us real bucs fans for a brighter future with a damn good coach stearing this ship!!!!! Haven't this pumped sense the hiring of Gruden!
I think when Lovie/Tedford watch the film on Glennon they will want to bring in competition for him and have a fallback vet in the wings. They will not want to outright replace him.

Agreed totally Jason.....But I think Lovie will give Glennon a fare shot and in imo I think he beats whoever out...Time will tell,we actually have a real coach now so I feel great about it either way.
I want to mention a dark horse candidate who I think will bring a lot of competition- Jordan Rodgers our practice squad player. Tedford coached Aaron at Cal and Jordan is described as an athletic competitive QB.
I am just excited to have coaches who will put our players in positions to play to their strengths and get the best out of them. As others have mentioned since the hire, Lovie Smith is a coach who people want to work for and players want to play under. We are a better team with the exact same roster as soon as Lovie signed his contract. Think of how much better we can become once we brings his coaching staff and some additional key pieces in FA and the draft. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders and I can breath again as a Bucs fan.

He is contracted through next season but I wonder what it would take to get Hasselback from the Colts. I could part with a 5th for him.
Even if they drafted someone in the first round, it's not like Glennon would be gone (unless they traded him). He still has 3 cheap years left on his contract.
I would tap the brakes on that...That is my biggest fear...fans are going to expect Lovie to do the same thing as Reid...just like everybody now expects guys with knee injuries to do the same thing Adrian Peterson did...it's not fairI HOPE Lovie can replicate Andy's success, but I don't automatically expect it.
