Literally haven't heard this connection one single time anywhere..
Simmons to the Bucs.
IF we are looking to move up, most people assume it's for a OT. What if it's not though? Simmons makes the most sense in that 7-9 range. If he is still on the board we could move up and get a major steal.
I know he is listed as a LB but he is more of a Swiss army knife. LB, S, Edge... he does it all and Bowles would be over the moon if we added him to the defense.
IF there was ever a true prototype for the moneybacker role, this kid broke the mold.
Not saying we will, or should draft him so don't set fire to the thread.
What would your reaction be?
