What is the rational reason for this comparison? Wilson has never played in read option spread formation ever. Perhaps Mariota can become a Russell Wilson type QB, but there is no tangible evidence that he remotely can be considered a Russell Wilson clone based on the offense Marcus ran at Oregon.Saying he is a Russel Wilson clone is as bad as stating Winston is a Jamarcus Russell clone.Both are ridiculous assertions. IMO
