As a Ducks fan, I could not enjoy this anymore.
Why would anyone wanna play for such a brain dead coach?
For context, he did this exact same thing when we had it won vs Stanford at home then inexplicably ran the ball instead of taking a knee... lost the game.
He's done this twice... he's a freaking idiot. He can recruit but he's a brain dead coach.
Just insane but also amazing to see for us Ducks fans with the way he left...
How do Miami fans feel?

What year was that?

Nevermind, found it in 2018.
I think that one isn’t quite as bad as last night, as Stanford had a timeout left when when Verdell fumbled on 2nd down with 51 seconds left. They probably would have had to punt to Stanford if they had taken knees. Last night, however, was a no-doubter VFormation situation. Atrocious game management from Cristobal.
But hey, he can recruit. Who needs to win games when you can win recruiting battles?
Yeah the Stanford one still should have been a knee but they would have had to punt and given everything it would have taken a miracle after that...
This one is worse but it's the same brain dead stuff he does... great recruiter but in-game he is soooo bad

I’d have to believe if the Bucs were up by three and the QB took three knees knowing they are going to have to punt the opponent on 4th down, you’d have something to say about Bowles being too conservative. And you would be right, as lots of bad stuff can happen on that punt attempt too.
I don’t have an issue with the team going for the first down to close out the game in that Stanford/Oregon situation. That’s not what needed to happen last night, as the opponent was never getting the ball back. That was beyond foolish.
surprised he doesnt have a revolt
I think the math would have been Stanford with the ball 10 seconds left, down 4, inside the 20.
Watching this game live and was scream to just run a knee or run qb draw with the intent of sliding for a loss and running a few seconds.
But yes, it's not the exact same as Miami which literally had victory formation. Close enough tho
He owned it on a postgame radio show. Said it was his fault.
really makes you wonder though about the other coaches as d lack of communication
He has to say he owns it. He can't double down on stupid and blame someone else.
Dude is brain dead in games. Miami paid the Ducks 8m for him!
