If they can’t trade him
The #Bucs plan to release veteran guard Shaq Mason if they can't trade him in the coming days, per source. Mason is due $8.5 million in the last year of his deal.
Will count against the cap until 2027. Another Greenberg special.
The mistake was running it back again last year , too many bad signings to appease Brady , who was average at best last year .
looking back I wish he would’ve have stayed retired
Dislike this big time.
Trade White before Mason
@jc5100 it’s funny because you’re a fucking idiot.
Trading Mason saves $5.3 million in cap this year, but also saves $1.08 million that was counting against cap each year in 2024, 2025, 2026.
How about that?

Well yeah if we are talking hindsight last year even tho a playoff year was not enjoyable and we would have been better off rebuilding last year
however, everyone that is honest, saw the Bucs coming off franchise best wins and mvp caliber season from Brady and they had to re load for 2022 campaign
anyone knocking litch or Greenberg just aren’t being reasonable. Knock them for how they did it rather than doing it! Either way we would have cap issues this year and well reasoned

Agreed. There are nits to pick here and there, but overall they did what they were supposed to do last offseason regarding Free Agency. The talent was there to win more football games.
My biggest gripe would be the lack of production from the first and second round picks. They did very little to justify Licht selecting them.
