Very pleased with the size of our Oline. Now, I hope they can get the job done.
Bucs OL looks okay on paper but we have to see if players make the transition and play cohesively. I am not too worried about that left side of the OL but the right is a big question mark still.
Will this massive offensive line be able to open up holes for the RB's to run through? Will the offensive line be able to pass protect for more than 2.2 seconds? We will have to wait until the regular season to see if that happens.
Had a feeling Robert Hainsley wasn't going to start at G here. He was barley strong enough to anchor the C spot.
Other than Wirfs, there are big questions marks regarding pass protection ability.
Is it a massive OL? Serious question. How do they compare to the rest of the NFL?

Which is why they should have never signed Jensen to this stupid contract.
Why draft Creed Humphrey when you can have Trask and a bloated Jensen contract!
After all, Licht never trades up for players
I was curious myself but I think that's an exaggeration to be honest. Our left side is pretty huge but the right side is about average weight compared to most teams. Is it a massive OL? Serious question. How do they compare to the rest of the NFL?
Ravens are probably the biggest line from left to right Ronnie Staley 315, Ben Cleveland 357, Tyler Linderbaum 305, Kevin Zietler 315, Morgan Moses 330.

not sure they are bigger than the Eagles or Pats starting unit... or Faalele have to win the starting job over Moses!
They are as a unit, Eagles RG is 303 pounds and Lane Johnson at 315. Pats are like the eagles too in terms of their weight distribution.I was curious myself but I think that's an exaggeration to be honest. Most interesting to Joe was Wirfs telling people on the boat that Goedeke is stronger than he is.
Considering Wirfs is one of the most powerful men in the NFL and certainly among the most explosive athletes when it comes to linemen, that was an eye-opening comment. Wirfs jumping out of pools is legendary, as was his performance at the NFL Scouting Combine, and while carrying a tree on his back.
Goedeke, at 6-5, 315 (320?) pounds, is a mountain of muscle and a gym warrior. But stronger than Wirfs? Joe had to make a couple of well placed calls on that.
The answers came back clear. Yes, Goedeke is stronger than Wirfs.
So, could the Bucs now have strongest tackle duo in the league with Wirfs and Goedeke, assuming their current positions hold?
Throw in Pro Bowl center Ryan Jensen’s return and the addition of 6-6, 330-pound veteran guard Matt Feiler and 6-6, 315-pound rookie guard Cody Mauch, and it’s hard to believe the Bucs won’t be able to improve their miserable running game significantly this season.
I'm looking forward to see how well Goedeke does at RT, and Wirfs at LT. If Wirfs handles the change, and Goedeke improves a little over last year, I think our O-line will allow us to do some things on offense that a lot of people don't think is possible (per Red Board comments).

IF Goedeke can hold up in pass pro at RT I think the Bucs OL on paper is going to be a people mover in the run game. At that point if White can be decisive and make quick cuts as required with zone blocking I expect White to have a big year as RB1.
