Well I live in the Cleveland area (Akron) and the reports after he removed his name from consideration could have been to save face because the browns didn't want him. I know the majority of fans around him weren't very excited about bringing him in as coach even though he is a local guy.
They are saying that he dropped out because the Browns wouldnt assure him that he's the "front-runner."It's probably good for both sides that marriage didnt happen.
