Failed is quite the reach pal. Still waiting on a text/call from him after I got shipped off like a piece of garbage. Can’t wait to see you twice a year, Coach.
and Joe Thomas chime sin
"“I could be wrong… but i’ve heard that communication is a 2-way street and there were no laws against you (Baker) sending Stefanski a text or calling him after you got traded,” he wrote.
Little extra zing in 2026
Pretty ridiculous response from Joe Thomas. I get he just holds water for the organization but no one in their right mind would expect the player being traded to be the one to have reach out to the coach.
Side note- Look at Stefanski's record W/ and without Baker.
Now if baker can back up the smack talk
guy was pathetic in the final 6 game stretch

He's 2-4 vs. Atlanta in Tampa Bay, and that was against Arthur Smith & Raheem Morris. Stefanski is a far better HC (2x COTY) than both of those guys. Hopefully he will be better, but he may want to chill out on the shit talking until it happens.

Fair to call out the record...but I don't recall him or the offense being an issue in almost any of those games against Atlanta (Maybe one game in 2023?).

Sure, most of the losses were because of the shitty defense. But still, they were losses. He may want to pump the brakes on the shit talking.

I mean just the last falcons game was blow because of a baker INT
sure defense was ass but if he wasn’t so pathetic as to just throw a 6 yard completion instead of a turnover, we win that game
Baker needs to work on himself this offseason because 2025 baker was mediocre and cost us some games
the uber-aggressive, go for on 4th and 23 from our 2 . . the "all gas no brakes" types . .. now saying Mayfield should pump the brakes.
Let him go. The whole team should have more of that

i guess where i'm coming from is that Baker played himself out of a contract extension this year; who the hell does he think he is to boast or talk shit; you were garbage down the stretch cuz
now Baker coming off 2024, that's a QB we could be proud of (despite the choke turnover in playoff game) and was top 10 in the league; yeah talk all the shit you want pal; but you were one of the main reasons we choked away the playoffs this past year so just too soon for me to say "Hell yeah Baker" when i am not sure i even want him as my quarterback if 2026 is a repeat performance wise of 2025.
Not all members of the “all gas no brakes!” crew are saying this.the uber-aggressive, go for on 4th and 23 from our 2 . . the "all gas no brakes" types . .. now saying Mayfield should pump the brakes.

When Baker ran Liam Coen’s scheme, there were clear options, the offense was layered, the spacing was there, and the sequencing (as I understand all of that) was more detailed than what it was under Grizz this season. Some of that may have been due to available personnel, some of it was just not good or missing for what seemed like series of games.
When playing within the Coen system (and without missing offensive talent at OL, WR, RB), Baker seemed to have options and understood where to go with the ball. It did not appear that way this season.
I think some of that was because Grizz was working out OJT playcalling. Through stretches of games it looked like we were reacting to what the defense was doing, and we lost the ability to consistently induce a defense into a look we wanted to set up a play later in the game. Liam was and is very good at that.
I’m hopeful that Zac Robinson has that in his DNA and won’t also be limited by a two completely different starting QB’s - one of which couldn’t figure out how to run a play without being in pistol.
Looking forward to watching all gas, no brakes - from inside a well-thought-out McVay scheme that our starting QB knows & understands the objectives of the scheme and individual plays.

Then you didn't watch any of the games. Also, 2023 the OC for Atlanta was Bill Walsh...
I would rather Baker be quiet, torch them for fitty twice in the new season, and then run his yap. I am never a fan of running your yap when the offensive side of the ball was as dysfunctional at times as this one was this past season. Once he torched the Falcons and Stef, then the gloves could come off but for now, be focused on righting the wrongs from this past season.
And Joe Thomas can politely STFU. He's been the Browns talking a-hole for a while. Excellent HoF player but stay out of the drama.
Baker seems like a guy who needs a slight to hit top motivation so I don't mind it. Definitely easier (and maybe smarter) to trash talk after a win but at this point the "season is lost" anyway so why not go out guns blazing!
