Don't know much about Barr, but some here have said he is soft? A speed guy? Don't we have Dekoda Watson already? Cause that is who he sounds like without knowing too much about the kid...Any UCLA followers comment on Barr?

Every pass rusher we don't like is Gaines Adams... God rest his soul. Just like every QB we don't want reminds us of Josh Freeman.
Barr is hands down the 2nd best edge rusher in this draft. Mack has put up great numbers but against weaker talent. Does that transpose to the NFL is my question.

Barr is such an enigma right now. What does Lovie want out of his linebackers? We know, that bar was set high. He has David to his Briggs. He needs an Urlacher. Barr isn't a MLB. So if Lovie is going to run some transmogrified form of the T2, does it make sense to draft an outside linebacker that high?Lovie is hunting for a stud MLB. A lot of the mocks have the Bucs @7 taking Mack and Atlanta @6 taking Barr. Then others have Mack going 6th, and Barr 7th. It seems like it may boil down which of those 2, Atlanta doesn't take.

Every year we get excited and argue about DE's, tackles, etc. and there is usually only 2 that we all agree to disagree on. Then people like Jared Allen come out of the 4th round. For all we know Means or Gholston is the next one. Not predicting, I'm just saying the draft is a crap shoot.

Brandon Spikes is set to be an UFA and the Pats are not re-signing him. He is great against the run, not so sure about getting back into coverage to play the pass. However, he does bring the physical attitude Lovie wants from his MLB
