As a sophomore, Gholston was credited with seven tackles, including five for loss, and two sacks in a triple-overtime victory.“His play in that game was part of the reason we won,’’ said Cousins, the NFC’s lowest-rated passer. “I’m grateful to him for sending me out in my last college game with a victory. I remember he was a five-star recruit coming out of high school. Everybody in the SEC had offered him and the fact that he came to Michigan State was a huge deal for us.’’Gholston has started Tampa Bay’s past two games at right end in place of George Johnson and his 15 tackles rank second among Bucs defensive linemen to Clinton McDonald (25).Stat of the dayAfter forcing only one turnover through the first three weeks, Washington’s defense has registered eight takeaways in the past three games.Did you know?Former Bucs S Dashon Goldson leads the Redskins with 53 stops.Quote of the day“They’re committed to the run.
