If he is as awesome as you guys seem to think his snaps wouldn't be so limited. Would a team limit JJ Watts snaps ?The fact that he rotates in fresh against a tired OL actually helps a guy like Bennett.
Nobody said he was as good as JJ Watt, but better than Bowers and DTN for sure

Don't be a moron. Most of us knew it was a horrible move at the time. There is not "after the fact" going on here. The only people that can't admit it now are people like you and Doloris that didn't realize it was stupid all along.
Again.....why did every team in the NFL pass on giving him a long term deal????????????No one can answer that. Yet, the Bucs were the ones that made the mistake. Wow. Laughable.

WTF are you talking about? The same people you are arguing with now told you last offseason that it was a mistake to let Bennett go, while you were arguing it wasn't.Time for you to eat it and admit you were wrong instead of wallowing in fail.

Bennett had a total of 600 defensive snaps this year. That was the most of anyone in Seattle's' front seven. Stop talking out your ass, http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/snapcounts
31 tackles, 8.5 sacks
on how many snaps?
Here are the per-snap numbers:Michael Bennett: 65 total QB pressures in 412 pass rush snaps 1 QB pressure every 6.34 snapsDaniel Teo-Nesh: 24 total QB pressures in 328 pass rush snapsDaquan Bowers: 17 total QB pressures in 172 pass rush snaps 1 QB pressure every 12.20 snapsClayborn/Bowers/DTN totaled 8 sacks in 1028 pass rush snaps, or 1 sack every 128.5 snapsMichael Bennett totaled 8.5 sacks in 412 pass rush snaps, or 1 sack every 48.5 snaps
Ok this isn't funny anymore

As much as his supporters have been beating this dead horse , you'd think he is better than Watt...

Nope. The same people were mad that he went to Seattle for so cheap. The Bucs refused to overpay....just like the rest of the league. How can you fault them for that when every team did the exact same thing??He got a one year deal and chose not to let the Bucs match or counter offer. Yet, it's the fault of the team for letting him go? Not saying the move was for the best but at the time it was the right call. The entire NFL had reservations about the guy. When he realized this, he got butt-hurt and ran off to Seattle. Never have and never will blame the Bucs for not signing him long term with all things considered at the time. This is the NFL. This thing happens to every team. If it upsets you, then good luck finding another team that gets every move right.

Biggs, anyone who knows anything about this poster, knows that "wallowing in fail" is about the only thing he does well.
Hayseed has been saying Bennett is "easily replaceable" for two years now. Nothing is going to get him to change his mind or admit he was mistaken.

So help me understand why Bennett wasn't signed long term by any other team out there, including the Seahawks. Are you telling me that you know more than every scout, coach and GM in the NFL? You expect us to believe that you had it right all along? Garbage, as usual.

Please pull up a post from two years ago where I said this. I agreed with the Bucs that Bowers was the future. Obviously I was wrong. However, people are complaining because we didn't resign Bennett. The guy was passed over by every team and got a pedestrian one year deal that he didn't allow the Bucs to match. Were the Bucs wrong for waiting for the market to establish his value? Nope. Didn't Bennett's agent tell the Bucs he would allow them to match an offer? Something Bennett would renig on. In hindsight, only an idiot wouldn't have wanted Bennett on the team this year. However, ignoring the circumstances is ignorant and something I'm not going to buy into.
