Awesome. Hopefully the first domino. Mayfield next. I think it's a good deal because it gives Evans the big $$$ but it's only two years with probably most of the guaranteed money coming in the first year. The Bucs aren't into a long term commitment. So I think it's good for both sides.

This is good news.
Once the Bucs sign the rest of their important free agents they might be able to sign some value free agents to shore up weak areas. I am thinking the Bucs try an approach to shore up the defensive backfield with some vets because they have enough young players in the secondary.

or let’s say Mike delays Father Time and still does well, then just resign him again in 2 years at market value
