Coming from the town, drunk.
That’s precious BECAUSE HES RIGHT ABOUT THE FOOTBALL PART . . SO . . .
I would say offer him 32 mil over 3 years. What is the market price for a WR. For Baller, He wears the Number 6, I would offer 60 mil over 6 years.
If they were offered this, they’d both laugh in Licht’s face and never step foot in OBP again.
What is a reasonable amount of money. I honestly have no idea aside from its in the 50-100 mil range for a deal for a Franchise QB and HOF WR, at then tailish end of his career with a "dropsy" problem...A big one, one that HAS COST us BIGGGames before, how much more??? 3 years for 34..mil? Baller can ask what we wants, just following these two Post season games, Ive seen enough to see what he CAN BECOME with just alittle bit more work (reading the d just a little smarter and faster), to go all in on Baller.
DH, I dont need it but…
Case closed, DUI Esquire.
This fuggin' guy is caricature and has no idea.

Baker should get something in the 3-year/$75M-$90M range (my guess is with around $40M guaranteed. It’s pretty much in line with what Geno received and Geno had a better year (leading into his new deal).
Evans is tricky, but it’s certainly more than $10M-$11M per year as you suggested.
If I had to bet, it would be 3-years/$70M-$75M.

Lets hope they Love TEAM more than paper....that is all.
PS: I think BOTH HAVE SHOWN THAT THEY DO (might?/hope/cross my fingers?)
Mayfield is an F pre-snap, F post snap when the coverage isn't what he's expecting but he's an A when he can just catch and throw.
Some of the runs he not checking out of are mind boggling. Tied at 17-17 with the ball at the 40 we ran a run with an unblocked defender at the line of scrimmage for -4.

I mean, how much per year do you want them to get, that’s realistic?

This was definitely the most egregious example yesterday. I have no idea how the QB didn't see that and change the play. There were a couple others, but none of those others were this bad.
But there are those out there that don't see and understand stuff like that. They want everybody to believe Mayfield was "fantastic" yesterday. He was good, but he clearly had his issues.

What teams are offering Baker 3 years, $75-90M?

what do YOU think he will actually get?

likely not many teams in for his services but all it takes is one and then we would be screwed. His minimum is likely 3 years $75 million in which i agree with you let's not blow our load...that should be what we shoot for and what he would likely accept to retain him as starter. Simply the Bucs given him market value and still be able to afford pieces around him. Going crazy like Giants did with Daniel Jones would not be good.
Likely Chicago, New England, and Washington pick QBs in the top 5 picks.
Cousins either going to Minnesota or Atlanta
that leaves Wilson and Fields as other competent QBs likely on the market in the Mayfield category; i'd say Tannehill but he's likely in the Andy Dalton phase of his career as High level #2.
so teams after those moves that need a QB - Broncos, Raiders, Titans (maybe roll with Levis), Pittsburgh (maybe roll with Pickett), Atlanta or Minnesota, Tampa Bay, and Seattle.
that being said, you can't offer him $10M because a team like Raiders or Broncos could swoop in with a 2 year $40 million dollar deal and that would be silly to lose him over that. then your 4-13 dream will come true no doubt...and the reset to your madden franchise button doesn't exist where you can pick up at the saved point and actually sign the guy to $25M

youre only saying he should've check out of the play because of the part in bold, right?
or are you saying he didnt get the line set correctly?
The run call is the right call before they come to the line of scrimmage

LOL
One of his best plays of the game is his pass that comes after reading the shift in defense and then dropping a dime
JC, you also wanted Trask in early right and said at one point that Mayfield should get ZERO from the Bucs?
