Evans recorded his 89th and 90th TD today.

This puts him 10 scores behind cracking the Top-10 all time receiving TD's leaders. He's currently #14th all-time.

After today's game, he sits at 850 yards receiving on the season (with 6 more games to play) and 9 TD's on the year.

Gotta love Evans.

150 more yards

on pace for 1,300 yards

It’s a shame we have to resign Devin white over him this offseason (sarcasm if not clearly obviously)

Evans is the only reason any Bucs fans will need to tune in December and January

been that way for every season sans Brady. Don’t take that from the fans

Randy Moss-like on the field, better off.

Hope he keeps breaking records for the Bucs.  If they had a better team around him, he'd be crushing it even more

Lol.

Pump the brakes on the Moss comparison. No disrespect to Mike, but he's nothing like Randy.

But, he's an absolute stud on the field. And a pillar to the community off of it.

He wants to end his career here. He raised a family here.

Hope the Glazers do the right thing, because he's still producing at a high level.

All depends on how long he can keep playing at a high level

feel like a lot of them fizzle out at 33 years old

if Evans can play at this pace another 5 years he will jump into the top 5 all time receiving yards

but yeah hard to compare him to Rice, Owens or Moss

Evans is like Frank Gore. His numbers will be there and be HOF but was never considered the best WR in the game in any given year.

like Julio Jones and AB were in that category throughout their career but Evans longevity will make him have the better career

He's actually a lot like Randy at his core because both were tall striders who caught people flat footed with their closing and passing speed

Just like Moss, later in his career many fans call for him to be the feature offensive weapon ("Randy Rules") even though thats not really his MO

sorry, both basketball and track stars  during HS (although Moss maybe more so)

by "moss-like" I mean style of play and physical make up.

But definitely not Rice or Owens very different than both and Rice other world

Mike Evans is the greatest WR... no wait... best football player of all time.

Jokes aside, his style of play is very similar to Moss but Moss at his peak was better.

Evans will have done it consistently for longer...

Get him the 1k, resign him, let him retire a Buc

Period

Besides Brady, Mike has had some trash qbs. It's easy to call him hof but if he had better qbs he'd get more love than currently does I think.

Moss was on a different level with route running, far more prolific than Evans. He was also more than a strider, as it pertains to speed. Aside from sub-4.30 wheels, he was insanely quick in acceleration.

And, he was a threat to house it every time he touched the ball.

Aside from height, they're nothing alike.

And, that's not a knock against Mike at all.

If he played in a big market, he'd get his flowers 24/7.

When Tom Brady got the opportunity to throw passes to Randy Moss, he made the most of it. Now that he has the opportunity to throw passes to Mike Evans, he is already doing the same. Brady and Evans got rolling in Week 2 and plan to build on it. For Brady, Evans reminds him of Moss in a lot of ways.

"From a physical standpoint -- both [have] big bodies, big catch radiuses and great body control," Brady said Thursday when asked to compare the two receivers. "[They have a] great understanding of the game -- feel, instincts, [etc.]. Randy is a Hall of Famer. I think Mike is going to be one too and it's been amazing to play with him. I love playing with Mike. He's been just spectacular from the day I met him. I admired him from afar for a long time."

Mike Evans just hit his 10th consecutive 1,000 yard season. A streak that began at the beginning of his pro career.

Also added his 10th TD reception for the season.

Not bad for a guy who the offense apparently doesn't flow through.

That last catch for him probably stamped his bust in Canton.

Congrats!
