I've been saying this for awhile, people have very short memories.  People keep comparing Glennon vs his contemporaries during the primes of their careers and not comparing him to them as rookies.  He seems to be inline with many of these "franchise" QB's when you compare him to them as rookies.  Throw in the leagues worst rated Oline...and I can't understand people thought process.

Great, all this shows is that we have the 4th best QB in the division.  Not going to win much that way.

This also shows he doesn't hit WR when they are wide open, nor does he hit them in stride more than once a game. He will be an average back up.

How does that prove he didn't hit them in stride?

The YAC does. At least for people who watched the games.

Okay, so YAC says more about the QB than the WR's and coaching scheme. Okay, got it.

If you watched him, you know how bad he was on film. He was TERRIBLE in most games. Of course his coaches didn't help him all of the time, but he missed A LOT of open receivers.

Those "franchise" QB's were QB's in a different time. The way the game is played today those QB's would have numbers that dwarf what Glennon did.

I've noticed that most of Glennon's passing yards came in the air and not after the catch. I think some of it is in fact because we need some offensive weapons that are better at YAC. Getting Mike Will and Martin back will certainly help. Drafting an explosive slot and stud TE would help too. This of course can all be seen as a reason to say Glennon is actually really good and promising and he struggled because of the lack of talent around him. I agree to a point but.....I see it another way and I am sure it's cause I'm a hater and he isn't cute enough. I think a much bigger reason for that stat is that Glennon so often threw short little dump offs to guys that were completely covered and immediately tackled. On 3rd and long he almost always threw a 5 yard pass to a guy that had a defender hanging on his back. That has a huge effect on this stat. I don't think he's going anywhere though, so we will all find out together if he is better with more talent around him.

Are you just comparing rookie Glennon to the vets 2013 seasons? Because if you compare Glennon's stats to them as rookies and 2nd year guys Glennon is on par with them.

I addressed it. If the other 3 QB's had been rookies last season their stats would have dwarfed Glennon's stats. Look, I know you want to keep Glennon as the starter, but everything points to not being a winner in the NFL.

That's you making assumptions. The NFL hasn't changed that much since Ryan and Newton came into the league. You can make assumptions all you want, but stats are stats.

Well you are wrong about his dink and dunk propensity, he didn't throw short all that more often than a lot of other QBs that you'd love to have like Rodgers and Luck.
