Buffalo linebacker Khalil Mack has been talked up by draft analysts for months, but NFL Network’s Mike Mayock took the gushing over Mack to a new level today.In an interview with KFAN, Mayock said that he would take Mack with the first overall pick in the draft.“He’s one of the best two or three players in this draft,” Mayock said. “I’m going to tell you right now, I’d take him with the first pick.”Mayock said Mack’s best position is probably outside linebacker in a 3-4, but Mayock says it doesn’t matter if a team plays a 3-4 or a 4-3, Mack will be a good fit in any NFL defense.“Khalil Mack can play anywhere in the front,” Mayock said. “If you put the tape on against Ohio State, he dominates Ohio State like nobody I’ve ever seen dominate them. He’s explosive off the edge, he’s tough, he’s twitchy, he’s got a little edge about him. When I watch him on tape I feel like he’s pissed off at the world, and I like that. This is only a true statement if your opponent has an immobile quarterback (or one with limited mobility). It becomes spectacularly less important when facing a highly mobile quarterback (Cam Newton or Colin Kaepernick). You don't really rush those guys as much as try to contain them in the pocket. Having a great defensive line is never irrelevant, just much much less important. Even against the Russell Wilson type QB it is significantly diminished. The Superbowl was the perfect storm against probably the least mobile quarterback currently starting in the NFL. With an offensive line that was overwhelmed (particularly at right tackle) and a coaching staff that did not (or could not) adjust to a failed matchup.

The first two will obviously be qb's imo.If they don't want a qb, they will trade down and gather a couple of picks for the positions they do want, and will STILL have access to. It just makes sense.If you ask me, the bucs are in PRIME position to move up without the cost being extremely over inflated. Which is something I believe lovie has been considering.Question is, IF they want a qb, who would it be (with a top three or higher pick)? I would say teddy, although I would hope they take manziel. Either way, an improvement would be mad.

Say what now? 2 sacks. 130 yards rushing by the QB. He was off passing, but Colin tends to have games like that. Especially @ Seattle. How could you even compare that to the can't move the ball an inch domination of Manning and the Broncos' offense in the SB?
So far Mack has posted a 40" vert and 10' 8" broad jump. That is insane explosiveness. By comparison Von Miller was at 37" and 10' 6".
