NFL Trade Rumors ?@nfltrade_rumors 3mReport: Dolphins Also Be Open To Trading WR Mike Wallace & Cameron Wake http://tinyurl.com/nrqmqc4
Wallace is speed all day. And his contract is huge.
I'd take Wake
Wallace is overrated and not worth half of his contract. Wake is awesome but 32. I would sign him as FA....but I'm not giving up draft picks for a 32 year old 3-4 OLB that you hope can play 4-3 DE.

The dolphins play the 4-3. He's a monster at LE
It's still smart JD, 30 million is still better than 20 million or 10 million. However, what you didn't mention is that the salary cap has a floor starting this year, it's going to be harder to roll over a lot of cash in the future. However, dead money is still dead money. Teams that make bad free agent decisions still get hurt even though the cap is going up. But, point taken, the effect will be less than it was.
Wallace has a $15M guaranteed base salary
Wake would probably cost too much to trade for otherwise I would support it.
if they had more picks id say give up a mid-round pick for wake all day, every day. he can play with his hand in the dirt. he dominated the CFL at DE, and as youngone mentioned, the dolphins played a 4-3also worthy of note…he's put up a monster season following a "low" sack total the year prior twice in his first 4 years. last year he had 5.5...
Wallace is a bum
Dennis Hickey doesn't screw around, people. He means business.
lol^
Depends what the Phins want. Neither has a prohibitive contract tbh. Wake would be 5.8 against the cap this season and low 8's the following two seasons. Wallace is a big number this season (15), but would be 9.85 in 15, 11.5 in 16 and 17. The way the cap is going up that ain't bad for a legit #1 or outstanding #2. Dolphins would be eating a bunch of dead money trading either which is why I don't understand shopping them. Unless they think those guys are pulling in high picks in return.
......This report is false
Wallace is a bum
Going from Mike Williams to Mike Wallace is a lateral move. Both are trouble.
