Schiano Iove? Didn't Scott call for Schiano's head as early as 0-4 ?
Yo Mark man. I love the PR and that's why I keeping back dawg. But I gotta admit that PR's credibility be taking a pretty big hit over the past few years especially this past year. From the Donald Penn weight report being wrong, and PR saying Ronde Barber would return just to have him retire. Then PR calling for Marky Mark Dominick and Josh Freeman to get new contracts during the offseason (what a disaster that would have been), then proudly leading the lynch mob with pitchforks after Schiano early in the season (admitting that part of the reason was cuz he make your jobs harder) just to try to reverse course later in the year, saying how new info had come to your attention but the damage had already been done. Yo, for the record I aint no Schiano fan, but you guys were acting like the National Enquirer the way you reported on Schiano at the beginning of the year.Listen man. I am sure your jobs be tough and sometimes you be at the mercy of your sources and all. But the thing that roasted my chicken more than anything else, and still does, is the blatant bias towards Dom and Freeman. Freeman can babysit my kids? Just to have him turnout to be completely irresponsible and have what appear to be serious off-the-field issues. Not only has PR not been critical of Dom, PR has gone out of its way to put him in a good light and spin his gaffes and inflate his good stuff man. The PR story that made excuses for a bunch of Dom's bad moves and made it sound like he was pressured into contracts for Mike Clayton, Quincy Black, etc. wasn't worthy of the newspaper I would train a puppy on. Freeman never made the playoffs and the only thing he was consistent at was being inconsistent and inaccurate. But you wouldn't have heard that from PR, and if we did, it was a fart in the wind man. And how is it that Dom be such a great GM, but he aint getting a sniff from other teams right now?Yo, I think you guyz can get it back man. But it going to take some time man. I have to admit that the first time I read the Mike Williams article I questioned how accurate it was cuz PR be reporting it. I hope you guyz be right and this be the start of a great offseason of news from you guyz and for us. Seems like the Bucs be on the verge of turning this thing in the right direction and hopefully PR be, too.
That was an incredibly honest and entertaining take
Fair enough points, don't necessarily agree with everything, but we can understand what you are saying. The one thing I would say is we go with the best info we have at the time and sometimes the sources can mislead. Overall the track record is a lot more right than wrong. We have no problem taking the heat when we are wrong, but I, biased as I may be, like the fact we are willing to stick our necks out instead of sitting back and just reacting to the news. We don't just go to Mobile to watch the practices, but instead we are building a ton of relationships with coaches, agents, scouts, GMs and others to help our coverage through the year. I promise we put in the work.
Wow. Can't say i agree with everything said.... But that was by far alleyezonme's best post ever.
This past year for the Bucs was an absolute whirlwind and mess, and PR got caught up in it. Sometimes it even seemed to get emotional and personal for them. Yet what I respect about PR is that they have acknowledged it, even admitting mistakes. Here's hoping for a great Bucs team for many years to come, with PR's reporting following suit!
And back to the OP, it sure seems like MW wants to be treated like a professional. If that's the case, he should act professionally at all times when he's interacting with the public, especially through his social media accounts. Some of the these young dudes amaze me when they can't add that up.

That's a good piece of advice for all pro athletes.
Dont really agree that PR had a case of Schiano love...though I would say that there was a bit of Freepology on SRs end prior to the disaster that was 2013 Josh Freeman. So Mike Williams and Donald Penn dont like what has been said about them in PR..BFD.

Agree with that last part for sure. If you don't want bad news about you out there, do better.
....PR said his weight was ballooning out of control this past off-season & it wasn't IIRC. That has nothing to do with Penn's performance on the field. That report should have never been written and was a great example of some of PR's very poor journalism in 2013.
I always have to read Mike's tweets several times, it's very hard to understand what he's trying to say. I'm guessing he was't an English major at SU.
He attended Riverside Institute of Technology (HS) and at Syracuse majored in Bio-medical Engineering with an emphasis on robotically-assisted surgical devices and specialized telemanipulators.
Graduated magna cum laude no doubt.
Hahahaha http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=3424228
Anyone see Williams' agent come out and deny the fines? I think SR offered to retract/correct the report if he did so . . . nothing yet?
Remember when Mike Will was mad?

Truly, what is the point of cluttering the board with year old posts?
