200,000 dollars in fines this season for acting like an irresponsible idiot. Not sure how any of you can argue with a straight face that giving him a big money contract is a great deal for us , regardless of how it is structured.Immature behavior does not improve after being supplemented with Millions of extra dollars. Never.I have a Mike Williams jersey. Trust me I hope I am wrong .
Hamstring injuries are a sign of not being in shape.
That's just not true. You can look at Mike and see he's in shape. People with hamstring injuries are usually a result of some imbalance between the hip flexors and extensors.
It absolutely is true. And no, you can't just look at a player and tell he's in shape, condition wise.

It is a potential sign...along with many other things. Does it mean he was not in playing shape...NO. However...considering he went through training camp and was fine for week 1 I have a hard time buying the "out of shape" theory.

There were reports of him leaving the field with a trainer coming out of the preseason joint practices with the patriots...
Gotta love how on the one hand it's pointed out that Williams was a fourth rounder so the bar is lowered for expectations, than those some people turn around and average in his rookie fourth rounder contract to rationalize that he's not currently overpaid. Red Board logic.

So to average out what he has cost per year is wrong? We can only look at what he is making in the current year? Ok. He makes $1.8M in 2014.Still overpaid?
Mike Williams is overpaid because Steve Johnson of Buffalo Bills, who is a better receiver than him got paid less than Mike. The culprit here is idiot Dom who never showed any kind of ability to get players for what they were worth or less.
He is a guy who really should be a third WR not even a second and in that role he gets even more overpaid.
If you honestly believe that, you're a moron. Name me 10 #2's that are better than Mike. I'll wait...
Some of the posters here are acting like Mike Williams is being called a bad player. He isn't. He is a darn good WR. He was just over paid. I personally have no problem with it because it isn't my money. But I hate the fact that our former GM did that to almost every player he signed/re-signed.

He'll get $5.27M in March, 2014...
The Red Board ignorance is at a peak this morning.

He makes $1.8m in 2014 period. No idea where you came up with $5.27M. That number doesn't appear anywhere! http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/tampa-bay-buccaneers/mike-williams/
Tampa Bay, where mediocre players go to be paid like stars and have their very average at best performances hyped as greatness by fans.
