DE Olivier Vernon - Pay him like a number one defensive end. If he pans out great, if not his floor is still better than the ceiling of the guys we currently have. Not a lot of options this year in free agency, Vernon is the guy.CB Sean Smith - Like Vernon, pay him to be a number one corner. Also like Vernon, Smith's floor is higher than the ceiling of any DB currently on our roster. Solid veteran corner who is at the very least a good second corner.G Alex Boone - If Mankins retires this is a no brainer signing. Even if Mankins doesn't retire it's still hard to not take Boone and see if you can improve the center position by starting Marpet there. Solid LG who can help Ali and Donovan cement a hell of an OL going forward.QB Bruce Gradkowski....... [long awaited return to TB lol] - Good veteran to help Winston along. Doesn't hurt that he has spent a lot of time around Ben Roethlisberger, a guy many compare Jameis to. Glennon will be booted as part of a trade with a QB desperate team this offseason, possibly even PRIOR to the draft.1 - CB Mackenzie Alexander [Clemson] - Probably starts out as a 32 corner opposite Sean Smith.. with Alt Vernor inside [at a reduced salary]... top three corners look as good as we've had since Talib/Barber.. depth still lacking a little bit, but that can be addressed later on.2 - S Jayron Kearse [Clemson] - imo the best safety in this draft class outside of Ramsey and the difference between the two isn't substantial. Kearse is the type of safety that the league is moving towards. Fast, athletic, hard hitting. Very Tyrann Matheiu like. Best safety on our team once drafted.. good riddance Chris Conte. Although Conte will almost certainly be back....2 - OT Le'Raven Clark [Texas Tech] - Potential LT. Not too much different from Donovan Smith last year. Smaller school prospect so he isn't as highly touted as guys like Tunsil/Stanley who play for much bigger markets. Clark is the best OT in the Big 12 and shows everything on tape you want to see from a potential blindside protector of your teams greatest investment. Let him battle Smith in training camp with the winner of that battle playing LT and the loser playing RT. Between the two I think you have a solid couple of bookends for the next decade and a half.  *trade Glennon, 3rd round pick, and 4th in 2017 to Jets/Texans/Eagles4 - WR Leonte Carroo [Rutgers] - One word.... production5 - EDGE Eric Striker [Oklahoma] - Underrated for a good reason, sorta. He's VERY undersized as a DE or even as an OLB. But the kid gets to the QB like the best of them. I frankly don't care how we get to the QB as long as we get to him. Speed is this kid's game and he is blinding off the edge. A situational pass rusher who can spell Vernon/Smith while learning the game from Lovie and company. Gotta root for a kid who comes from Seffner, Florida!! LOL6 - FB Derek Watt [Wisonsin] - Safe to say Jo Lane is likely done in the NFL. Sad to see him go out the way he did. Even if he comes back healthy, we need competition at the position. Watt was phenomenal blocking for Melvin Gordon at Wisonsin and with those bloodlines [older brother JJ] he is worth a shot as a late rounder who could start day one.6 - TE Billy Freeman [San Jose State] - see round 4......
