What was his snap count when we desperately needed edge support in the playoff loss to the Commanders - in a do-or-die situation?
7 snaps, behind Diaby (56), Nelson (51), & JTS (31) at Edge.
He simply wasn't very good and didn't deserve any more snaps than he received.
Unfortunately, think Bucs know what they have in Braswell. What was his snap count when we desperately needed edge support in the playoff loss to the Commanders - in a do-or-die situation?

JTS 43%. Braswell 10%. Barrett 7%. Washed up Barrett played only two less snaps than Braswell. I didn't even realize Barrett got into the game. Certainly the Bucs made a calculated decision after week 13 to punt on the Braswell experiment until next year. But if they draft a player then how many snaps will Braswell get next year? For two positions lets do some math. Lets see if you put Reddick at 70%, Diaby at 70%, Nelson 30%, Draftee 30%. Hmm. Let me calculate that up and see what's left for Braswell.......What was his snap count when we desperately needed edge support in the playoff loss to the Commanders - in a do-or-die situation?

Biggs is right and, for once, applying the basic logic that simplest explanation is most likely accurate. If Braswell performs better he's in more, especially when it matters (WT's point).
It doesn't necessarily follow though that Braswell is done, a "bust," bad (yet) or that he would be traded or cut. Not yet.
Will be interesting to see how he performs this season. Hoping he gets it.
Still think there will be really good EDGE options at #19.
On 2 different simulators I was able to get same exact draft (excep pick 3 and 4 flipped but same players) fwiw. I gotta feeling bowles might go for usc safety even though i am not sure about that

Emmanwori is a darkhorse for sure but Seattle picks in front of the Bucs and Mac is playing a lot of zone like Bowles is doing now so they might pounce on Emmanwori to team with Love. But I think they are happy with Coby Bryant making the transition to safety so maybe Emmanwori does slip to the Bucs at 19.
Mel Kiper's Mock Draft has the Bucs picking Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina in the first round and Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M in the second round. I'd be OK with that.
@kermit56 - I’d be so disappointed with that draft.
Emanwori is interesting (whether we’re down to choice between him or Shemar Stewart).
Yeah, Im hot & cold with Nic Scourton. Id much prefer Purdue-Nic, to Texas AM-Nic.
Another draft fwiw....lol19.

I love my Buckeye’s, and there’s a special place in my heart (and on Buckeye Grove) for Jack Sawyer - he’s more of power edge/edge setting LB, so Captain Jack ain’t on my Buccaneers shopping list this draft.
@buckandear - Really like your Tai Felton (to have some speed that can take top off of defenses) & JJ Pegeues (nice DT - and you know Bowles has to have one) picks - mocked them myself, recently.
Top 30 Visit Mock - I stuck with Top 30 Visitors and traded down with Chargers (TB 19 and 121 for LAC 22 and 86) PFN.
