As our season has all but finished here, I've been thinking about the draft. More about needs and how that would work in this year's draft. Round one: DE, Lovie's defense doesn't work without pressure. Doubtful you could go DT and draft a guy to replace the production of Clinton or McCoy. Biggest need for Tampa.Round two: CB, Judging by what we saw this season, Lovie doesn't have a CB that he really can trust. Depending on who is cut/traded/signed this pick might go differently. But Banks fell so far out of favor this season, as did Verner, the CB is going to look different next year. Round three: WR, Kind of a strikeout last draft with the WRs the team took. Unsure if Bell is really the answer. Would like to see this pick used to get someone who could play as the slot receiver. However, would need to be a taller guy who could transition to being the no. 2 once VJax is gone for good. Believe VJax is here next season. If Kenny Bell is able to fulfill the role I have described, than would like to see this pick traded. Round four: S, Team needs someone back there! Whether this pick is the proper place to get a well needed S is debatable. A safety could easily be chosen with the third round pick as well. Round five: OT/C, team needs depth and securing someone to start on line in a year or two would secure Jameis for years to come. Two young guns last year, another this year. Could see the team using the third round pick on this position as well.Round six: DT and OG, Would like to see depth at DT that could translate to better pressure. Also looking for youth on the offense line. While both players chosen this late could easily be cut, it makes sense to grab these positions over others.I'm most unsure about the WR in round three. It's the pick that I want to see, mainly because I don't want to rely on Bell being a starter. I left off LB, HB, QB, and TE. Don't see the team wasting valuable picks on those positions. I think more picks could come the team's way also. I think LiLo is getting rid of Banks, Verner, and Glennon. If the team can get picks for any of those guys it would be an advantage. I also do t see this mock draft changing too much if Koetter were promoted to HC. I assume he would keep Lovie's defense, but I'm have no reason to back that claim up.  The team doesn't have as many holes as they have had in the past. I think the offseason will be unsexy, but that is what the team needs. Ok guys, tell me how much of an idiot I am below! Or come up with your own mock draft. Either way, I feel it's a good time to be a Buc's fan.
