#1 Houston Texans - Teddy Bridgewater (QB) -There will be a lot of talk about Houston trading down here or even picking Clowney with the 1st pick, but ultimately I think the Texans stay put and pick Teddy Bridgewater as their quarterback. Resisting pressure from the fans to pick Johnny Manziel, Bridgewater is just the most NFL ready and least bustable of the top quarterbacks in my opinion. There is no better option available in free agency or for trade. I'm 90% sure this is going to be their pick.#2 St. Louis Rams - Trade down - With their own pick sitting at #13, the Rams would like nothing better than to auction this pick off to a team that either covets Clowney, Bortles or Manziel. My guess is that team is going to be Cleveland that is going to jump the Jags for the opportunity to draft Bortles.I think Atlanta is a possibility here, but I actually think if they are going to trade up, it will be with Jacksonville and only if Clowney is available. If no one trades with the Rams, I think the Rams will take Jake Matthews or Greg Robinson.#2 Cleveland Browns - Trade up from 4 and take Blake Bortles (QB) - Afraid that Jacksonville will take Bortles at #3, Cleveland will trade with the Rams to make sure that they get him. Cleveland has extra picks this year and I suspect that they can just offer more than Jacksonville for the 2nd pick. Again, this assumes that the Browns love Bortles more than Manziel, but I think they do.#3 Jacksonville Jaguars -  Jadeveon Clowney (DE) - I think Jacksonville, now that they lost out on Bortles, will focus on taking a quarterback in round #2 and will pick Clowney as their consolation prize. I believe that they will listen to offers from Atlanta and others for this pick, but ultimately Jacksonville makes the pick.#4 St. Louis Rams - Trade with Cleveland - pick Jake Matthews (OT) - This pick could be Greg Robinson instead as both are listed as 1a and 1b on a lot of boards, however, Jake Matthews has a bit more flexibility in the positions on the line he can play, so he gets my nod.#5 Oakland Raiders - Johnny Manziel (QB) -  I think Manziel is a real possiblity here. Oakland needs a quarterback and Manziel just seems like the player that could fire up the fans in Oakland. If Big Al was still alive I'd say this was a slam dunk pick. Like a a lot analysts, I think Sammy Watkins will get a lot of consideration here.#6 Atlanta Falcons - Greg Robinson (OT) - I think Atlanta will go and get a DE in free agency and rebuild their offensive line in front to Ryan. As much as they talk about a edge rusher, they can't let Ryan take another beating like he did last year. The only other guy I think the Falcons would covet is Clowney, but I don't think that they can convince Jacksonville to part with the #3 pick. Mack is certainly a possibility here, but there aren't a lot of good offensive line options in free agency and there ARE a lot of potential edge rushers. And that brings us to the Bucs at #7 - There are a lot of options on the board now, Sammy Watkins, Khalil Mack, Timmy Jernigan, Taylor Lewan and CJ Mosley. Unfortunately, with none of the top 3 quarterbacks left, there isn't any player that is likely to be coveted enough for a trade other than possibly Watkins which we would also be looking at. Assuming that the draft fell close to this, with or without trades, I'm pretty sure that we will be choosing between Watkins, Mack or Jernigan with Taylor Lewan another guy in the mix. With all the nonsense going on with Williams, if Watkins is there at #7, I don't see any way we can pass him up. However, if the team has a 'Come to Jesus' meeting with Williams and he appears to straighten himself out over the next couple of months, I could see us taking Mack. Finally, if WR or DE isn't a real pressing need, Lewan has moved up the boards and is now in the top ten and really helped himself at the combine yesterday so Lewan could also be considered here.I'm pretty sure, at least 2 of the top 3 quarterbacks are going to be off the board before we pick. I believe if one is left it will be Manziel and I'm not sure the Bucs will want the circus that might surround him in the off season. I also really don't see any team trading with us at #7 to get Manziel, unless someone is convinced that Minnesota will pick him and wants him bad enough to jump ahead of the Vikings and quite honestly I don't see anyone under the Vikings that would do that. So my best guess at this point is that the Bucs will take either Watkins, Mack, Jernigan or even possibly Lewan at #7 (my preference is in that order) and if those were the 4 guys; whom we take will be determined mostly by how free agency shakes out. Of course. the combine hasn't fully passed so it's possible that someone else will jump up into consideration at a later point. But if those were the 4 choices, I honestly would be happy with any of them (even Manziel, if he's available and the Bucs choose him).

What I don't get about that report is it came out before they overhauled their front office or even got a new coach.

Could be, I took that into account, but if they really prefer Manziel, do you think they would be open about it? I think they are talking about Manziel because they really prefer Bortles. However, if Cleveland really wants Manziel, then the Rams I still think will go OT, Jacksonville will take Bortles, Cleveland gets Manziel. Raiders get Clowney. It still pretty much works out the same way.

the flaw in that logic is that the people that reportedly loved Manziel are no longer there.Secondly, if the draft falls as posted above and we pass on Watkins, i'll be ill. Unfortunately, it won't be the first time.

Maybe Watkins, but I'd rather trade back in this scenario. Not a fan of taking Mack or Barr at 7....but a 3-4 team might want to trade up for one of them. Someone would probably trade up for Watkins too. I'd take extra picks in this draft over any non QB at #7.If we can't trade back though....I'm taking Watkins.

I agree Hate, Watkins would be my choice at #7 if he's there. The only way I wouldn't is if I couldn't sign an edge rusher and had no other choice but to take Mack to fill that need. That said, I could see scenarios play out where we address DE and WR in free agency and the next hole could be either the defensive or offensive line as well. With the Williams issue, there is no way the Bucs can avoid not picking up a receiver in free agency and depending on whom we end up with, that could really drive the selection to Watkins if he's still there.

Bortles might appeal more to CLE since they have bad weather and do need a big arm more than many teams do. As that draft falls Lewan, Mack would be my picks. Still not onboard with Watkins given the WR depth of this class.

Thats probably what Im thinking too. Although I do think Mack will be a probowler, but its too risky since we run a 4-3

I highly doubt the Falcons would take Mack. And I highly doubt with Manziel on the board we take Matthews. If anything, I think we trade out at this point.

This is how I see it playing out. Do you take Jake Matthews? Mack? What if we already signed Brendan Albert and a stud DE? 1. Texans - Greg Robinson2. Rams - Sammy Watkins3. Jaguars - Teddy Bridgewater4. Browns - Johnny Manziel5. Falcons - Jadeveon Clowney (trade up)6. Raiders - Blake Bortles7. Buccaneers -

I think in this scenario, I'd trade back and try to recoup some picks.
