Eagles, Dolphins, Bucs, Jets & Texans Expected To Show “Strong Interest” In G John Moffitt1 min ago Former Broncos G John Moffitt cleared waivers on Thursday and is now free to sign with a team of his choosing.Denver granted Moffitt his release on Wednesday after he decided to unretire from the NFL.Ross Jones of FOX Sports expects the Eagles, Dolphins, Buccaneers, Jets and Texans to show “strong interest” in Moffitt. The offensive line market isn’t very deep, even though Pro Bowler Evan Mathis is currently available, so it really wouldn’t be all that surprising to see him get at least an opportunity compete for a roster in training camp.Moffitt, 28, is a former third-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2011. He spent just two years in Seattle before he was later traded to the Broncos in return for DL Brian Sanford.Seattle tried to trade him to the Browns, but that deal fell through after injury concerns were raised regarding this injured knee.Moffitt last appeared in an NFL game during the 2013 season while playing for the Broncos.linkEagles signed OG John Moffitt to a one-year contract. The No. 75 overall pick of the 2011 draft by the Seahawks, Moffitt retired midway through the 2013 season as he dealt with personal issues. Going on 29, Moffitt hasn't played meaningful snaps since 2012, and wasn't overly effective as a regular NFLer. Nevertheless, the Eagles get a player with a mauling profile two weeks after releasing Evan Mathis. Moffitt won't be assured of cracking the 53-man roster. Source: Ross Jones on Twitter
