Question: General thought is that we hired Bruce Arians to win now. Does cutting some talented veterans and trading down to get draft picks to replace them really help that scenario...?

Arians wasn't hired to win now. Who said that? Did Licht say that? The Glazers? Anybody? Arians said he wants to win now. He didn't say that was why he was hired. Huge difference. Jon Gruden was hired to win now when Dungy was fired. This isn't the same thing, not even close.
Sure Arians is trying to win. There is no patience around here for stripping the team down to nothing and tanking for a couple years. But that is secondary to the main reason he was hired: To turn this organization into something respectable instead of being a laughingstock. That takes more than one year.
