70 plus plays on defense? ouch
Pitts covering AJ Brown . . .
@donkey_hunter like I said and you just disagreed with me. Bowles ball.
Lol Bowles was so impressed with his defense didn’t even try with timeouts
Bowles - the CB blitz doesn't work if you do it that many times.
And not calling TOs there at the end was pathetic.
@donkey_hunter part of me think its freedom on the corner cause no way as a coach im letting my corner play 8 yards off the ball on a 4th and 2 even if i get beat. NFL offenses are so adept that when someitmes theres acertain look, wr and qb has the choice to run the slant if they see a corner playing that far off. For srianni offense i have no doubt they have that choice route in their system. Inexperienced corners who arent familiar down and distance and route concepts
Here's my expert analysis: The Eagles are a better team.
Unfortunately we are not a good team. But when you are not a good team you have to take risks. We will never do that with Bowles. Hell we had the best qb of all time and we still didn’t do that with Bowles. No team in the nfl is good enough to win consistently without taking some risk. We don’t have a chance with this coach.
@catherder true, but knowing that, wtf do we have to lose? Go conservative? Bullcrap take risks!!
just lose out and get a real coach and qb here
We never go for the win. We hope to win by not messing up
@catherder facts and hainsey can't be the starting center if we expect to face big ass 330 lb dt in the playoffs
The Eagles are a damn good team. The Bucs are a team in transition so they are built a little inside out. Very talented receivers who cant get the ball much because the offense cannot sustain drives (inability to run) and the defense cannot get off the field (inability to stop the run, at least tonight)
so, will we bounce back?

You do understand there are very few Centers in the NFL that can handle their interior DL 1-on-1, yes? There is plenty of blame to go around tonight, and Hainsey is pretty far down on the list.

spot on!
Of course they are. They are a legit SB team. And guess what . . . RUN THE BALL AND PLAY GREAT DEFENSE . . it works.
We cannot run the ball (so far) and our very THIN defense can play okay, but no defense can hold up for 70 plus plays (is that even right?) 38 minutes to 21 minutes in possession?
we are a team in transition and we are transitioning from being the WORST running team in football . . and that was NOT just because of the play calls

Agreed on a lot of this, but I’d still put the blame on coaches for giving them that freedom.
As you said, I’d rather get beat over the top than give an elite playmaker a free/uncontested release.
