First downs by rush
Eagles: 12
Bucs: 1
the only real positive for the D was that they did stop the Eagles a few times in the RZ. It couldv'e been even more of a blowout
Trenches win and lose games. Eagles just won that on both sides. I warned Bucs fans we have 3 JAGs out there. Hainsey got dismantled every rep and Mauch was overpowered.
Missed Ali Marpet tonight…
Thank you sir for being the voice of reason. The Eagles are a better team because they are just way more physical in the trenches. They ran for over 200 yards and we ran for 40. Game, set and match!!!!!!Here's my expert analysis: The Eagles are a better team.
that TD on 3rd down was awful. great throw but we must defend that
whatever, I would have taken 2-1 at any time
bring on jameis 😀 looking forward to that one!!!
The talent gap between the Eagles and the Bucs is as big as the holes the Eagles RBs ran through last night. The Bucs defense is hot and cold, had some good moments, but mostly cold last night. Getting tired of watching #1 WRs tearing up the Bucs secondary...Jefferson, Moore, Brown all over 100 yards and 10+ yards per catch. The offense was putrid. No running game, lack of connection between Mayfield and the receivers. I was prepared for a loss, but not the total domination by an opponent. The Eagles are a very good team and should go far. The Bucs have a lot of work to do to get to their level, and it will require a bunch of player upgrades.
Definitely completely different teams but the interesting thing will be how the Bucs respond to an azz whipping on national tv
The problem is that the Saints defense is licking their chops waiting on Mayfield and Co. Sunday might be just as ugly for the Bucs.
Not nearly afraid of the Saints front 7. Its not even in the same ballpark as the Eagles.
Hurts didn't look good at all. That OL is so damn good though. Eagles are toast if they face a team that can actually get pressure on him.
The Eagles play modern NFL football, which is nice to watch. Like the Buccaneers did in Week 1 & 2, Philly threw the ball to get the lead and then ran the ball to keep the lead:
Q1: 11 pass attempts to 7 runs
Q2: 12 pass attempts to 7 runs
First Half Ratio - 23:14
Up 13-3
Q3: 10 pass attempts to 15 runs
Q4: 7 pass attempts to 11 runs
Second Half Ratio - 17:26

The Bucs did pretty similar stuff yesterday, throwing the ball to get the lead and then ran the ball to keep the lead:
Q1: 7 pass attempts to 3 runs
Q2: 18 pass attempts to 10 runs
First Half Ratio - 25:13
Up 14-3
Q3: 3 pass attempts to 7 runs
Q4: 9 pass attempts to 14 runs
Second Half Ratio - 12:21
Won 26-9
Complete Game - 37:34
Running the ball to keep the lead is “modern football?”
and the Eagles RAN over the Bucs and played solid defense. That’s the model for winning since … the Hank Stram days?
(the “modern” component for the Eagles offense is the same the Bucs would hope to have with Canales. Running different plays from same presnap look and formations.)
