Number 1
Starting nickel is Parrish (Smith moved to Safety) and Parrish "could be the biggest game-changer in the secondary."
Number 2
"“Haason Reddick . . is quick, decisive" and he's "got a Rolodex of pass rush moves."
And I know everybody talks about veterans helping these young guys; I saw a couple of guys on the interior pass rushing group with the Bucs who were bringing out moves that I know I have never seen them do before. So Haason Reddick is going to help this defensive line.”
“Emeka, he easily could be a No. 2 receiver right now,” Barber said. “Dude is a vaccuum cleaner. Chris Godwin has great hands; I think Emeka’s are better. Like anything in his vicinity is a catch.”
Already knew what to expect of Emeka his film and his mind fit those archetypes of Godwin Kupp.
Parrish is a surprise because I haven’t watched much of him. But going back thru his college tape. Yea… he’s a baller, very heady instinctive doubt we have a drop off with Tykee going safety I think he might be better. What stands out is his ability to pursuit thru the screens and meet the ball carrier with precision. My favorite thing about his man on man is that when the ball is in the air he finds contact not enough for PI but enough to “feel” the receivers body and movements and play thru him. Also uses his body well to shield and play thru the receiver to make it not look like Pi that’s how I know he’s heady along with maneuvering thru screens and taking down rbs with 30lb+ on him. Some guys can play forever and never do those things efficiently

Godwin had the second best catch rate of any WR last year. Hard to imagine someone having better hands than Chris. Its why Ive always been so high on Chris, he catches everything. Not to mention all the other stats he was leading the league in before his injury.

yes incredibly high praise
Yes incredibly high praise. Hope he's right.
An embarrassment of riches at the WR spot. Nice work Licht.

No doubt that Godwin has mitts.
But, in comparison with other receivers with high catch rates, his ADOT is towards the bottom.
Will be interesting to see Egbuka step into his role to start the season.

Weird, I thought he was NOT the over the middle, extension of the run game, zone busting 1st down receiver

Weird, like how you thought our future 1st ballot Hall of Famer, Mike Evans, was (and is) NOT a true WR1?
