Well, there it is. I was really optimistic about this season but, you can’t play the game with so many starters out on the Oline. I just can’t be sustained. What a shame. No word on Egbuka yet either. Was fun while it lasted.
If we get Wirfs and Luke back 100%, we’ll be fine.

Their performance with all these injuries says something very positive about the team leadership. From Mauch being the type of player who toughed it out against the Texans, to Barton jumping out to left tackle, to heck coming on after a snap demotion of sorts. White running as he did, even after his demotion of sorts. Egbuka being an absolute sensation that almost no one saw the Bucs taking. And definitely for finding guys like Jordan. This was Greenberg:

So, you know, credit to the scouting staff and Jason just always looking for who else we can bring in, who else is out there that may be able to help us. And of course Mayfield . .. whose leadership cannot be discounted.

that win monday was not impressive. we looked terrible after he went down.
we lucked out despite all the special team miscues, etc. In that regard, it was impressive, but we would be sitting here today all doom and gloom if we were at 1-1.
hopefully we can squeak by the Jets but we will be down 3 starters on the offensive line and 2 out of place.

Its why drafting OL is important. Haven't seen a lick of pre-season but how has Elijah Klien looked? I would assume he is far from ready seeing that we our plucking guys from PS and starting them over him. Down 3 starters is tough v any NFL team, will be hard to evaluate the new OC.
