Again, there are only 32 starting NFL QBs and only roughly 20 of them are any good. The good QBs play for 15 years. How many good QBs do you expect to come from one college out of 120 D-1 schools that is not a recruiting power?
then why list his past QB students like they are something to gush over? what are the overall stats on his offence? when you apply for a job do you front load your resume with information that is not relevant to the job you are applying for? even worse, information that is not even impressive?
What is disheartening are all the comments that go something like .... at least he would be an improvement over "insert old Bucs coach/assistant here"
Where are "all the comments" along those lines? I'm not seeing very many, if any, in this thread.
i don't think i ever mentioned that they were in this thread did i? if i did i apologize for the confusion.

Sorry, I thought it was implied since, well, it was a comment in this thread. My apologies.
An OC making bad QBS look good because of his superb system is a problem... only on the Red Board....

No worries, it was a good catch on your part.I just hope that this time around the Bucs hire a guy who will be here for the next 10 years. I don't just want an improvement from last years staff, i want a HC and coaching staff that other teams try to mimic and in turn try to pilfer along the way. That means they are doing something right. You never hear that other teams are looking to interview coaches on the Bucs staff for step up positions. The last publicized hiring of a ex-Buc coach i can think of was Morris who went from HC to DB coach. When your ex-HC can only manage to find work as a position coach on a bad team, that is sad.

yup

so the Bucs should look at Dan Mullen (Tebow) or Brad Scott (C Ward) because they too made bad QBs look good in the college ranks. here are the yearly rankings of Cal's offense the past 7 years (that is as far back as the NCAA site has them)2007 - (total) 50th (scoring) 50th2008 - (total) 47th (scoring) 27th2009 - (total) 49th (scoring) 47th2010 - (total) 90th (scoring) 73rd2011 - (total) 44th (scoring) 53rd2012 - (total) 69th (scoring) 91st2013 - (total) passing 10th, rushing 107th (scoring) 99thi just don't see where all the Tedford love is coming from. the past 7 years his offenses have been average at best

as of 2014 there are 120 putting 60 as average
why are you including a year he didn't even coach there?
also keep in mind the spread type offenses are always going to have higher numbers than a pro style.
why are you including a year he didn't even coach there?
