Tom Brady joining the Buccaneers is considered to be a positive, franchise-altering addition by most Tampa Bay fans, except one.
A viral video posted shortly after the six-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback announced his departure from the Patriots and agreed to join the Buccaneers captures a supposed longtime Bucs fan putting all his Tampa Bay gear into a plastic box in a fit of rage.
“Dad, it’s not the end of the world,” the person from behind the camera can be heard saying.
“SHUT UP!” the passionate fan yells in response as he throws the box out of the house.
It’s the end of the world! It is the end of the world!”
The son continues to film his enraged father, who begins shouting praise for Jameis Winston, the Buccaneers quarterback the past five years. And when the son attempts to say Tampa Bay will be better with the 42-year-old Brady, his father’s fury turns into taking shots at Brady’s age.
Even the Winston supporters out there on always-divisive Twitter seemed to understand the reasoning behind adding Brady.
But this one man will miss Winston, even though the former No. 1 pick threw 30 interceptions last season.
“It’s all about Jameis, baby, all about Jameis.”
